Heat Loss or Excessive Glazing Calculations
When a property is extended and there is a considerable amount of glazing in the extension, Building Control will require a Heat Loss Calculation.
ICAD Energy Surveys will assess the output of Carbon Omissions from the existing property and compare the results with the property after the work would have been completed, in order to prove that the amount of Carbon produced by your home has not increased due to heat losses through the excessive glazing.
